Bavaria: Better care for diabetics thanks to telemedicine
In Bavaria, a telemedicine pilot project of the Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians of Bavaria (KVB) has started in cooperation with the professional association of practicing diabetologists in Bavaria (bndb) and with the support of the Bavarian Telemed Alliance (BTA). The aim of the project, which is funded by the Bavarian Ministry of Health and Nursing, is to improve the treatment of people with diabetes who inject insulin several times a day.
